Resumo

There is an educational crises in the juvenile justice system in America with around 80% of all incarcerated juveniles having a documented educational disability. The systematic failures of the American educational and justice systems to provide these children with their legally protected rights. Using a combination of the three main American disability laws The American’s with Disabilities Act, The Individuals with Disability Education Act, and section 504 of the Rehabilitation act there are strategies backed by law that provide remedies to protect the right of these students.
